PURPOSE OF THE EVENT:

To share experiences with members and others.

Kyrö started its LEAN path from scratch in 2017. They started to train their people, made organizational changes and implemented lean management principles. They evaluated, and enhanced the processes and the most important; they set continuous improvement Kaizen principles in place. This all took around three years.

In spring 2020 a worldwide pandemic started and everything collapsed when 80% of the Kyrös sales disappeared overnight. How did Kyrö survive?

As William Edwards Deming said back in the days: "It is not necessary to change. Survival is not mandatory".

In spring 2020 people in Kyrö realized; they need to change everything to survive.
